Celona and OneLayer have announced a partnership to deliver a unified platform for secure private 5G/LTE connectivity. The platform combines Celona’s high-performance 5G LAN system with OneLayer’s Zero Trust security tools, giving enterprises integrated visibility across both IT and OT environments.
A Growing Market
The timing reflects rapid industry expansion. According to Research And Markets, the private LTE market is projected to grow from $5.98 billion in 2025 to $6.78 billion in 2026, representing a 13.4% compound annual growth rate. On the 5G side, growth is even more dramatic. The private 5G network market, valued at $3.89 billion in 2025, is projected to reach $150.66 billion by 2033, says Grand View Research.
360 Research Reports found that by the end of 2024, there were an estimated 4,700 private LTE/5G network deployments worldwide. As those deployments scale, so do the security challenges, which is the gap Celona and OneLayer aim to close.
What the Partnership Delivers
Celona positions its platform as a turnkey industrial-grade solution focused on telco-grade encryption, authentication, and deep integration with existing enterprise security services. Its 5G LAN system uses native IMEI/IMSI identification and core-level Zero Trust segmentation to build security into the network from the ground up. A feature called Supernetting extends visibility and policy control to multiple devices sharing a single cellular connection — a critical capability in large industrial environments.
OneLayer’s Bridge platform provides complete visibility, Zero Trust segmentation, threat prevention, and asset management for IoT devices connected to private 5G/LTE networks. The platform enriches Celona’s foundation by correlating SIM identity with deep device fingerprinting, behavioural analysis, and anomaly detection. This allows enterprises to validate device identity, block unauthorised access, and enforce adaptive security policies — all within the cellular network itself.
Together, the two companies say they address common pain points: limited device visibility, inconsistent identity assurance, and the difficulty of enforcing security policies across complex operational environments.
A secure, unified private 5G/LTE foundation
“Enterprises want the performance of private wireless without sacrificing the visibility and security they depend on across their existing IT and OT environments,” said Avishag Daniely, VP of Alliances & Marketing at OneLayer. “Together with Celona, we’re giving customers a unified foundation where device intelligence, Zero Trust enforcement, and core-level control work seamlessly from day one.”
Pradhyum Ramkumar, Head of Marketing and Partner Enablement at Celona, framed the partnership in the context of AI-driven operations. “By partnering with OneLayer, we’re giving customers deeper device intelligence and adaptive security capabilities that strengthen the value of private wireless and help them scale their deployments with greater confidence.”
Key drivers behind market growth include a shift towards private 5G readiness, increased investment in smart factories, the rise of autonomous operations, and growing demand for secure enterprise networks. The Celona-OneLayer offering is designed to meet precisely those demands, providing a ready-made answer for enterprises looking to scale private wireless without compromising control.
